Uranostind is one of the most beautiful peaks in Jotunheimen. From Tyin, the peak looks majestic with the Uranos Glacier on the right.

The summit of Falketind rises 2067 meters above sea level and is considered an absolute classic among Norwegian mountaineering history.

Langeskavltinden is located on the opposite side of the glacier from Uranostind. On this tour, we take you on a roundtrip from the glacier and up the ridge from north west to the summit of Langeskavltind, and down again towards the south ridge to the lower part of Uranosbreen.

The summit of Snøholstinden is centrally located in Jotunheimen, and can easily be spotted from Tyin. Snøholstinden has possibly the most exposed and spectacular ridge in the entire Jotunheimen massif. The tour starts and ends at Eidsbugarden, and we take you up the spectacular eastern ridge to the summit of Snøholstinden.

This course is to introduce you to techniques and methods for ascending mountains (alpinism or mountaineering), which involves basic climbing, glacier crossings, movement and safety in the alpine. The course is perfect for those who would like to scramble a summit where the use of rope and safety is required.
